It's also why we think it's important to support local initiatives such as school sponsorships and School Bus Safety Week and why we encourage our employees to volunteer in activities that make our communities better places to live.

And our environment

It's important to protect our environment for future generations. Not only is school bussing the safest way of transporting your children to school, it's also one of the best for the environment. Every school bus reduces traffic by about thirty-six cars, which means less traffic congestion, lower fuel consumption and reduced pollution. But we believe that there is always more that can be done. That's why we're continually challenging ourselves to reduce the environmental impact of our offices and our fleets.

Some of our environmental initiatives include:

  • Implementing anti-idling and lights-out policies
  • Purchasing buses with fuel-efficient engines and using ultra-low sulphur diesel fuel
  • Recycling non-safety related useable bus parts
  • Implementing waste recycling programs
